He is Near

When my world is shaking

You hold me Father

You hold me now 



God, you've always been there 


And you always will be

Even when others fail me


You won't Lord


You tell me you won't over and over again

You tell me that you are right next to me


That you're holding my hand


And you're faithful God 


You won't give up on me

 

Lord, please don't give up on this child 

Even though this Child wants to give up on you

It's not the end


The pain is only temporary 


And it won't last forever 


Child, 
Hold onto His promises 


Believe in His word


His promises are full of grace and truth 



Satan is throwing lies at you

You choose to believe them

 Why? Do you not know whose child you are? 


You are the King of Kings


You are the Lord of Lords


He bought you with a price 


He sent His Son


To die on a rugged cross 


So that you could live 

Child, just live 


Live freely

Look towards Christ.


Live in the light.


Walk in the light.


Follow the light.

 Just please 
don't give up.

Don't give up on Him.
Don't give up on life. 

It is not the end.


Take heart, dear one. 
Jesus is here. 
Jesus is near. 


He is right beside you.


He is holding your hand.



Sometimes you question Him. 
Shouldn't life be easier? 
Can't God just give you a break?
You've walked a long, hard, darkened road.
Why you? 
Couldn't God have chosen someone else's life to wreck? 

Sometimes you question your faith.
Why the hell would God allow any of this?  
Abortion. Abuse. Addictions. Abandonment.
Betrayal. Divorce. Suicide. 

Sometimes you question your faith

How is God loving?  

Sometimes you question if He truly loves you or even truly cares about your feelings



Still somehow and someway, you keep pressing on

You keep looking towards Him, in hopes that He will make you whole again
You know the truth. You know He loves you. You know He is there when you feel like giving up. 

Child, believe this. He is holding you ever so closely. Trust Him. Live life. Fall into His lap. 

Don't give up child. He is near.
